Mike spent the early part of his career in the underwater telecommunications industry. During this time he gained an M.Sc Degree in Manufacturing Management and Technology. He was heavily involved in a number of concurrent engineering projects that culminated in multimillion pound worldwide contracts.
He then took Operation Directorship roles in Companies involved in the semi-conductor industry and scientific instrumentation. Both highly technical, engineer to order industries. These appointments involved change management in all areas of the business.
Mike got involved in the private equity process becoming a Director in a BIMBO Company that required operational expertise to help turn it around, along with participation in the re-finance and successful exit for all stakeholders.
Mike has been advising Management teams on the MBO process and has a hands on approach to problem solving.
